Completed 2015; Green Star – Communities accreditation, Green Building Council of Australia; WAN Adaptive Reuse Winner 2015.

The objective of the Main Assembly Building (MAB) was to create a highly flexible, mixed use precinct under ‘an umbrella’ of the existing structure.

As the largest and most challenging siphonic project completed in Australia to date, the project included over 14,000 metres of high-level pipework.

Whilst respecting the structure’s original form, the team at Ultraflow worked in collaboration with Jordan Plumbing, beautifully designing and supplying the ultimate siphonic solution for the adaptive re-use project.

Respecting and preserving the building’s industrial heritage (former Mitsubishi Motors plant) the re-development has established a unique destination and contemporary public space utilising that ensures safe and secure water flow management with minimal aesthetic impact.
